Mandala Heart Opening workshop with Zaz Grumbar!

In creating spiral movement around the mat during a Mandala sequence, we open ourselves to greater creative potential than found in a purely linear pattern. We are free from moving on autopilot, and create movements in an organic and fluid way, honouring the intrinsic desire for movement.  

As human beings, we embody all 4 elements, Earth, Fire, Air and Water.  The session will begin with yin to prepare the body, before we move onto the more dynamic Mandala practice, and in our Air Mandala sequence, we will lift and open our hearts into the air, thus focussing on postures that prepare the entire body for  heartopeners/backbends, and opening the heart chakra.

This workshop will inspire you and ensure that you remain fully aware and mindfully present as we open the intentions of our hearts for the new year to the sky, gazing out over the vista of London from the Gherkin. All levels welcome.
